When I opened a fortune cookie the other day the following note slipped out of the shell: “Always filled with enthusiasm you break down all obstacles.”

This short text is about skateboarding in the streets in times of crisis and disorientation – the pandemic Covid-19. What I would like to argue is, that when we talk about the streets and skateboarding we ultimately speak and read a language, which only at first glimpse seems to be abstract.
